We all know how easy it is to scratch the glass of a beautiful new cell phone or a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA). Before DISPLEX we used to live with it – now we can remove all but the largest, deepest scratches in a matter of minutes. Created and manufactured in Germany, in only 5 years after its introduction, DISPLEX is already available in more than 50 countries. Enhanced with antistatic particles to avoid electrostatic charge on the cell phone, the product was tested and endorsed by such manufacturers as Compaq, Handspring, Palm and Sony. German Siemens uses it in cellular phone manufacturing post production processes.
This is how it works: after applying only a couple of drops of DISPLEX on the glass, polish it, pressing hard for 2 – 3 minutes, with a soft, clean cotton cloth. The plastic lens (the “glass”) is slightly dissolved and is polished with very fine abrasive particles. The corners of the scratch are rounded off and the whole scratch is filled with the same plastic the “glass” is made of. As a result all of the minor scratches that used to scar the surface of your phone are gone and the appearance of the medium and major scratches is greatly reduced.
